  • Can we BYO Catering?
Absolutely! We have a list of recommended caterers and food trucks here:
  • Can we BYO Alcohol?
Yes, at the moment we are a BYO venue. You bring your drinks we will refrigerate them, serve them, provide the glassware and wash up! We are in the process of obtaining a liquor licence but if you book with us we'll be sure to keep you up to date with any possible changes.
  • Do we need to hire portable toilets?
No. We are lucky enough to have men's, women's and even an accessible toilet with a baby change toilet inside the hall.
  • Can we put up fairy lights?
Absolutely. We love fairy lights; in fact, we already have fairy lights on the roof and on the back of the stage. We also have festoon lighting that covers the deck.
  • Can we decorate ourselves?
Yes, add your own flair! We offer the half day before your wedding to give you time to add your own special touches.
  • Do we need to hire a cold room?
No, we have enough fridges for all of your drinks. We also have one household refrigerator for your cake and other DIY grazing table needs.
  • Still don't have the answer to your question?
  • Can we stay?
Pitch a tent or roll up in your caravan, we offer camping for $10 a head. Make sure you let your Bride/Groom know you'll be camping so they can book this option in with us. We like to know at least one month in advance if we have guests camping to ensure we have a different paddock for the cows and goats ready, otherwise you might wake up to a billy goat in your tent.
  • Can we bring our dogs?
Dogs are not permitted to stay overnight. We know you love your pooch, but we love our cows and goats too. We are located on a working dairy farm and new dogs cause stress to the cattle. The couple getting married may bring their dog for their ceremony only if they have had prior permission from the owners.
  • Are you wheelchair accessible?
Yes, we sure are. Once you pull up in our car park follow the foot path around the front of the building and enter via the barn doors. We also have an accessible bathroom.
  • What should I wear?
Dress smart but think about exchanging your stilettos for a wider heel or even flats. You will need to be able to go all terrain in your shoes as the ceremony is normally located on the grass and our carpark is gravel. Always BRING A JACKET. Even in summer our temperatures drop quite significantly at night. Factor in a 5-10 degree drop in temperature compared to the Gold Coast or Brisbane and then add a mountain breeze.
  • Is there public transport?
No, Beechmont is a remote location and unless you are staying on the farm, or the couple have booked a bus you will need to have a designated driver. Air Bnbs may look close on the map but it is not suitable to walk back to them as there are no street lights or footpaths on our winding mountain roads. Please note we do not have Ubers or other ride shares up the mountain either.
